Poem #48: For Real

If you can take it, it's a dare

if you can pray it, it's a prayer

if you can tell it, it's a tale

if you can set it, it's a sail 

if you can sing it, it's a song,

even when they say you're wrong
if you can eat it, it's a meal,
if you can dream it, it's for real. 

if you can play it, it's Pretend,

if you can love it, it's a friend.
